notify of recent activity pertaining the user
After leaving and coming back to the site it would be cool to see that there are still:
- X fyres active (that I took part of)
- X fyres dead (that I took part of)
- X replies to me
- etc..
Now you kind of have to remember the fyres you were in order to see if there have been any changes
16 votesThanks, great suggest, something we’ll be looking at doing after launch.

Smart Phone
When do you see this being on our mobile phones?
10 votesWe’ll be starting development on iPhone and Android specific apps in the coming weeks. In the meantime, all features of LiveFyre work surprisingly well in Safari on iPhone 3GS. (3G is a little slow).

timestamp Fyre entries
I'd like to be able to see the time progression of a Fyre
10 votesFor various weird reasons, we did not launch with timestamps. We’ll be adding them, even though them not being there has kind of grown on us. :)

the multiple post bug has been squashed. We will be allowing deletion of your own comments, but no timeline is set yet for that functionality. Most likely in the coming month.

It’s built, but not active, and too buggy to push live right now. Look for this feature soon.

Fyre Muting and Total Muting
anyone should be able to mute anyone for either:
The rest of the Fyre.
Ever:)There should be a method to unmute.
This would prevent the need for censoring and moderation, pretty much.
If you don't like it, mute it.
If someone goes off topic, Mute them for the fyre, if it bothers you.
Its my internet time, I should be able to decide who I spend it reading and interacting with:)
And the same for you:)

Be able to watch/follow more than one fyre on a page...maybe with tabs?
That way you can track/comment on more than one fire at the same time without having to constantly click back and forth between pages...or at least bookmark fires that you're following so you can see when they update.
9 votesThis will either be a feature of our V2 release, or a feature addition late in our V1 site development. We want it badly too :) But it requires significant UI re-working to do it the right way.

When you reach the 300 limit, it stops you from entering any more text.
I think it would be helpful if, like twitter, you could type in as much as you want before you submit a comment instead of being stopped at the 300 limit. It helps to be able to type more when you're trying to edit a long comment down to size. I immediately found myself authoring my comment in word instead, and that was annoying.

On the homepage, it would be cool to have a list of active Fyres I'm partcipating in.
Along with some other data like how long ago the last update was, and maybe even a peek at recent comments made in that fyre.
7 votesWe already do list your recent Fyre history, but will be rolling out a much more informational panel in the coming weeks that includes information about number of comments since your last visit, etc.

Ability to filter results to activly burning fyres.
When searching for topics using right hand search pane on home page, I should be able to filter results to only show burning fyres.
7 votesTopic search is a bit messy right now. We’re working on this, and all searches will default to only active Fyres soon.

During new user creation (no twitter acct), I think you shld make people confirm their pwds
There is a single password field during the new user signup (non-twitter account authentication), and it doesn't protect users from typos in their password.
5 votesWe will be adding the password confirm. For users who sign up without Twitter, we’ll also be adding optional fields for uploading a picture and first name/last name.

Show character count of the Twitter Updates, when joining a Fyre
Would like to see a character count when updating the box that announces you join a Fyre (http://www.flickr.com/photos/95613351@N00/4174638617/). I don't want to count how many characters my updated update is.
5 votesAlmost done. It’s live already in the “Tweet this” comment functionality in each Fyre.

Color scheme
Your site's color scheme is a bit schizophrenic -- please use a better color coding system. Its hard to focus on the FYRE.

Rething the ordering of the fyrs
Rething the current ordering of the fyrs by # of users.
How will a new fry be ever noticed? Will new fyrs appear always on the bottom of a long list of topics (ie: 'Tech') ?- Order by date
- Order by "hotness" ?
3 votesRight now the “Latest” tab on the homepage does this. Will be considering launching with “Latest Fyres” as default for the reasons you mention. Thanks for the feedback!
